#16 Shapes
Check it out! Santa in the shape of a Christmas tree! I can honestly say I've never seen anything quite like this before...

#13 Underneath
In October we enjoyed watching this beautiful writing spider spin her web and lay her eggs...
#5 Package
What better package than a wrapped gift with a siamese kitty on top?
#11 Frightening
In Katy's soccer tournament she was 1 of the 5 picked to kick a penalty kick to determine the championship. It was SO frightening to watch, I knew how nervous she was. In the end, her shot was blocked, and her team lost 2-1, a heartbreaker!
#25 25
On December 25th of every year, the first thing I do is take a picture of the girls before they come downstairs to see what Santa brought - you can feel the excitement!

#26 Twas the night before Christmas
Can you tell they're all faking it?
#10 Family
My daughters with their great-grandmother just after entertaining everyone at her retirement home with their awesome piano concert!
#20 Meal
Little Emma enjoying her Thanksgiving meal all by herself, thank you very much!
#18 Silence
One silent night - when Amberly decided to let her magic elf sleep with her and NOT get into mischief!
#24 Tacky
My daughter insisted I use this for tacky - it's a jewelry box that she got for Christmas - she put up a good front when she got it, but the first thing she said to me was 'tacky'!

#22 Heat
Besides the above average temperature on Christmas day, this photo reflects the heat coming out of the turkey fryer as my husband & father slave over the turkeys!

#21 Nativity
One of my favorite Christmas collections - the nativity scene that I keep on my mantle.

#19 Lights
I love how the lights in my china cabinet reflect in my crystal glasses - my favorite Christmas present this year!
#17 Turkey
One of my husband's specialties - fried turkey! He injected it with creole garlic, deep fried in peanut oil and it was his best ever! Just looking at this picture makes my mouth water!!

#15 Harvest
Call me crazy, but for some reason when I think of harvest, I think of corn! This silver queen corn was SO delicious!!

#14 Oh, the weather outside is...
Too warm for Christmas Day! So warm that some wore shorts, the windows in the house were open, and the kids played outside with no need for a coat!
#12 Candlelight
My mother-in-law gave this beautiful crystal candleholder to my daughter for Christmas.
#9 Treats
Strawberry cake, chocolate cake, caramel cake and key lime cake were the best treats from Christmas Day!

# 8 Recycled
A recycled clothes pin becomes a lovely butterfly/refrigerator decoration!

#6 Tradition
In our house every year we play the 'pickle game'. After the tree has been decorated, Mom & Dad hide the pickle ornament somewhere in the tree and the first child to find it gets a special prize. It's something my girls look forward to every year!
#3 Music

My daughter Amberly played lovely Christmas music this year!

#2 Thankful
My daughter Katy was SO thankful to finally join the cell phone world this Christmas!
#1 Star
This is one of my favorite glittery ornaments from my tree - I like the sparkles and that it's not completely in focus - that WAS intentional!

#23 Pumpkin(s)
My daughter's 2nd grade class decorated a Garfield pumpkin in her school's pumpkin decorating contest.

#4 Foliage
I love this picture - I started to use it for underneath, but I want to save that for a Christmas picture. This tree is right behind the drug store near my house, and I happened to have my camera in my car and I just jumped out and started snapping - I'm sure people driving by were wondering just what kind of drugs I had picked up!!
#7 Dressed Up
It's Halloween and Minnie Mouse is in danger of being bitten by a terrifying vampire!!

I'm done!!!
I just have to say a big thanks to Amy for getting me into this - I have had the BEST time experimenting with my camera and also looking at everyone else's photos. Can't wait for the next challenge!

#16 Movement
My youngest daughter Amberly at her soccer game today - it's a wonder these kids don't bite off their tongues!

#15 Moody
Tweens - what more can I say??
I have a confession about this shot - it IS posed - my daughter Katy (on the right) and her best friend came up with the idea for this picture. After the shot, they both burst into laughter, further illustrating the 'moody' tween behavior - I wish I could use two shots for this picture!

#20 Sparkle

Could there be anything more beautiful than the sparkle of a child's eye?

#2 Accessory
A rocking chair - the perfect accessory for a log cabin's back porch in the mountains....
#7 Flat

Flat tractor...
'nuff said!

#5 Did you see THAT?

Look, it's another precious little kitten who looks just like ME!!

#11 Half and Half
I was really struggling with this category, and I saw this little planter on my mom's back porch and thought 'half planter, half cat'!

#19 Relief

Relief that after a stormy destructive day my home and family are safe and we can enjoy this fabulously beautiful sunset!

#25 Way to go!
This weekend my daughter's team placed 2nd in their soccer tournament. It was HOT and they played so well!

#24 Tiny

I'm interpreting 'tiny' as a relative term - this newborn filly is only about 1 week and 2 days old, we visited her this afternoon at my Mom's house, she's a beauty! Trust me, compared to her mother, she IS tiny!

#13 Juicy
This delicious juicy orange was a great treat for my daughter and I to share after walking 2 miles in the humid sticky evening air!

#10 Game On

Almost time for my daughter's traveling soccer season to begin - camp next week, first tournament in two weeks!

#3 Believe
I believe this puppy is sleeping with one eye open even though she's already 4 times the size of my siamese cat!
#18 Priorities

I have been watching this spider build this incredible web and tonight it struck me that I should try to take a night-time picture of it. I love how the web shines in the flash.

#4 Color my world
Is there anything more beautiful than a sunset on the beach??
#8 Framed
This 'framed' swing is older than my husband. It's in his grandmother's yard in North Carolina, where I'm sure she probably rocked him as a baby.

#21 Spiral
My daughter was wearing this dress and when I noticed the pattern I grabbed my camera and snapped the shot - this game is getting so FUN!

#22 Splish Splash
Nothing like slinging your hair in the ocean!

#6 Effort
My daughter gave me the idea for this one!

#12 Historic

I took this photo in front of Brenau College in Gainesville, Georgia. All the old buildings around this college are just beautiful.

#14 Metallic

At first I was going to take a picture of the metallic paint on my car, then I started looking at the tail light and thought this would be a creative shot. I like the way it turned out!

#1 Aaahh!

A little different interpretation.......
